On behalf of our entire school community, welcome to Rosepine High School.  We are honrored to serve the children of your family. This webpage provides links to resources that may prove useful in making your transition into our ocmmunity easier. As one of the approximately two million military connected childeren in America, your student will join the school-age childeren of active-duty military families here in Vernon Parish. Whether this PCS makes Vernon Parish your new home post or if you’re deployed and sending your kids to our school, we are proud to help make your time with us as rewarding and enriching as possible!

Rosepine High School  takes great pride in helping our Department of Defense families have a smooth transition into our school system.  RHS is very cognizant of the unique needs of our military students and their families, and works to help these families navigate their journey to a new school system.

For day-to-day contanct from our teachers and school, Vernon Parish uses ParentSquare. ParentSquare is a fully unified product that safely engages every family with school communications. 

Academic Planning

RHS offers three (3) Advanced Placement courses: AP Literatrure, AP Language, & AP Biology.  Rosepine High School also offers access to DE courses through Northwestern State University. 

Additionally, the Louisiana Department of Education recognizes Rosepine High School as an academic "A" school. With a School Performance Score of 110.9,  RHS has the topped ranked School Performance Score within Vernon Parish. We are also proud to share that we are the #1 combined school in SWLA.
